Day 4 update

Hi all,

So we had the dreaded call this morning to inform us our little embryo had stopped developing 😔. The embryologist did say that sometimes they can pick back up again but it’s unlikely.

Ok we thought, let’s not get too down about this - we’ll transfer both of the 2 frozen ones we have left instead (we’d already decided to bin off the PGS as we just don’t have enough embryos to make it worthwhile), but we were then told that as of today, they’re not sure if they’ll even be able to do a transfer tomorrow because of this blasted CV. We have to wait until tomorrow morning to find out! 😫

Sometimes it feels as though this journey just keeps kicking you in the balls over and over and over.... 🙄🤷‍♀️🤦🏽‍♀️

HOPEFULLY we’ll get some good news tomorrow although it’s looking unlikely atm.

I hope everyone else’s transfers are going ahead as planned where possible!

Sorry to hear that, Jo. I found my update today of my embryos not making it quite upsetting, but managed to pick myself up and going to focus on the one we do have. Sounds like you're doing something similar! Really really hoping for transfer tomorrow. Tomorrow is very soon so completely possible! Lots of love xxxx

Oh my gosh Emmie, I’m so sorry, I didn’t see your post yesterday. Sorry you only had one to transfer after doing so well up until then 😔

However, great news that you have made it to transfer and as we all know, it really does only take one and hopefully your little fighter is THE one! 🤞🏻🤞🏻🤞🏻

Hi Jo, awww so sorry to hear that, was really really hoping it was going to be better news for you. But like you say, theres another day to go yet, and as a backup you do have your frosties. Just pray that they will allow transfer, this CV is ridiculous, its not fair on any of us xxxxx

Thank you hun. It’s a nightmare isn’t it? At least I still have a chance it will happen tomorrow. I really feel for all those that know for sure their cycle has been cancelled 😔 The world is a different one than it was two weeks ago, for sure xxxxx

You’re right, this blooming process is unfair enough at the best of times but to throw CV into the mix feels rather cruel.

Rubbish news 😖 well the positive is, if they keep the frozen ones for another , you’ll be fine later . Not great but you have embryos 😘😘💖💖💖💖💖 hoping for tomorrow and if not another tomorrow 😘😘😘😘
