Hi ladies! So I’m due for my frozen embryo transfer in a week and I will speak to my doctor but wanted to also ask here! I am based in athens Greece where I have a 2 year old. Schools closed here 3 days ago and up until then little one was in nursery. We are self isolating since then only to go out for walks etc but not having contact with anyone. Since yesterday little one has fever and cough. Could be anything obviously but my question is — Do I go ahead with embryo transfer anyway? Can pregnant women get sick enough that it could be serious for baby? Should I wait till this is all over ? Saying that I just went through all the hormones for a medicated cycle and it would be a serious shame and also who knows when all this end right? Or do I just do it and hide in my house for a few weeks trying to relax and let go?
Oh the drama! If it’s not one thing it’s another eh?
Thoughts?

Unless your clinic advise you not to - I’d say go for it!
Also, I didn’t think children showed signs of having the coronavirus. They can get it but it doesn’t really effect them. Don’t quote me on that though!
Yes true, they could still pass it onto you. I completely understand people being worried, the current advice for pregnant women is they are not more at risk so I’d say the same applies whilst undergoing fertility treatment: google.co.uk/amp/s/amp.theg...
I would say go for it! One thing I have learnt is if you put off IVF/TTC because of things happening in life or because of what-ifs, it will never happen!
Just saw doctor! He is not worried at all and said in fact virus seems to not be hitting pregnant women first time ever so strange!!! What is worrying is that he is healthy and doesn’t get it 😏😉😆😯 so transfer booked in for 23/3. Endometrium is at 10 so happy about that! All looks promising dare I say it!!
