Now it has actually sunk in that we are parents, I wanted to share with you ladies as there were many times over the last five years that I did not dare hope that this would ever happen. Hoping felt like leaving yourself open to so much pain. 6 rounds of IVF and 2 heart breaking losses and desperate moments when we did not think we could go on with treatment. Then we changed our clinic and I felt like we regained some control and we are so lucky it worked. Our little girl Edith Jean, arrived 2 weeks early on the 13th, weighing in at just 5 pounds 12 ounces as she had a drop off in growth, but she is here. So in love. To those ladies still trying for your family I hope for you this happiness.xx

Thank you. It really took a while to sink in. There was a lot of staring at her and crying for the first few days!! Seeing my husband come alive is so amazing.xx
Thank you. I found this community after our second loss and reading and contributing to posts helped so much with dealing with how I was feeling and keeping going.xx
Hi precioce. Looking lovely and snug! She's is beautiful -well done. Hope you are feeling well and not too exhausted. Lots of photos, for little Edith will become so different, so quickly. Sending her xxxxx's. Dane
Thank you Diane. Feeling really well and very lucky. We can't stop taking photos. I am sure I see her rolling her eyes at us every now and again π Thank you for all you do in such a wonderful community of supportive ladies and men.xxxx
Hi! Congratulations on your absolutely beautiful daughter - she really is extremely cute, fab photo! Love the name β€οΈβ€οΈβ€οΈ Iβm about to start my 3rd cycle which will also be my 5th transfer when we get to that bit - Iβm so sorry you had to endure 5 cycles and 2 losses. Did you have s lot of failed implantations? Did you do anything to get your positive? Xxx
Thank you. I know we are biased but we think she is fab. We had 3/6 failed cycles. Our first baby was very poorly and had Edwards Syndrome and I miscarried our second baby. Both me and my husband have issues. Low ovarian reserve with egg quality issues and low sperm count. We changed to a lower drug regime and after the second loss I also I started on Omega 3 and Uboquinol to try and help boost my egg quality. I was taking DHEA throughout. We never got more than one transfer per cycle due to the small number of my eggs. Good luck with this next cycle. πxx
Thank you for your reply, Iβm on Cod liver oil, ubiquinol and DHEA already - and I have a high AMH, so just hope it works soon. Again, very sorry for your losses. So pleased you now have the baby that was meant for you x
Congratulations, she is beautiful. I'm currently on my fifth attempt and it's so hard to keep going. Glad you did and got your baby. I might change clinic if this attempt doesn't work. Gives me hope reading your post so thank you xx
Thank you. It is so hard to keep motivating yourself to carry on, whilst knowing that you have to put yourself through it as a way of achieving your family. I wish you loads of luck for your fifth attempt.xx
She is a wee beauty and I love her name. My goodness youβve had a difficult road to travel but your story gives me hope. Wishing you all the very best for the future xx
Massive congratulations on the birth of your beautiful daughter! You've been through so much - you must be completely ecstatic. It was such a pleasure to see the post. Xxx
