Frozen meds ? 😣

Bemfola sertraline and trigger shots all been frozen. Any recommendations 😣

Mistakenly put them in the freezer and not the fridge 😭 removed them and put them in the fridge 6 days after placing them in the freezer.

Do they just need to me replaced. Tried calling clinic but out of hours so I though I would see if anyone else has had this problem.

Oooh. I would let your clinic know that you put them in the freezer first off. I don't know if that makes any difference! What do you mean by needing to be replaced? xxx

I would definitely speak to your clinic. My guess would be that they'll need to be replaced as it says specifically 'do not freeze' in the datasheet at least of the bemfola

Hi Spatto. I expect you have been in contact with your clinic by now. However, for each medication there should be a patient information sheet which states the recommended temperature to store each drug. If they can't be frozen, then I expect you will need to replace them. Diane
