I’m currently in Budapest for a few days, tagging along on my husband’s business trip - which of course was scheduled right smack in the middle of our fertile window. I never thought I’d be a woman who went to such great lengths to have sex, but desperate times... 😉
Today I went for a massage, and the massage therapist double checked that I wasn’t pregnant. I answered, “No, I wish.” And she sighed and said, “Me too.” Turns out she and her husband have been trying for the same amount of time we have. We talked about how hard it is, how unfair it seems, and how lonely it can get.
It was comforting to share my pain with someone who understood. And it reminded me that my struggles with infertility - while awful - will forever connect me to millions of women around the world who are going through or have been through the same thing (including all of you in this forum). I don’t know why, but the thought of that helps me breathe a little easier.
Sending love to all ❤️

We have been lucky enough to get our frostie nice and comfy... But I was out shopping a few weeks ago and a lady working on the shop asked me how far gone I was and said her friend was going through ivf, I was like ours is a special baby too ❤️ and then last week two women working at the till were saying I think she will get an earlier scan with it being ivf. Its more common than you think hey. Always makes my heart hurt a little knowing how we will be, are or have gone though such a trying experience with all of this. I wish you all the best ❤️🤞🍀 xxx
This really made me smile. I had a similar experience having a facial once, I was just starting IVF and the lady doing it had her only child from it. So nice to talk to someone who’s walked in your shoes or understands how your feeling xx
It’s always nice to meet people who truly know how you feel. Some how it makes things easier to know we are not the only one and we can relate to each other ❤️ x
Thank you for sharing lovely 😊 I agree you don’t realise just how many people are going through the same struggles-of course doesn’t make it easier but it shows you are not alone and opening up and talking is so important xx sending you positive vibes
