Hi ladies, I ordered it on amazon but it will take a week to arrive and I would like know the advice on avoiding toxins at home (cleaning products etc) in advance so I can correct my habits before my third cycle starts, which is imminent. Could someone share the info please? Xx

Hello,

Some of the basics are on here:

itstartswiththeegg.com/prod...

I changed literally all my cleaning products to the brand ‘Method’. They are free from all the nasty stuff. Also replaced my kitchen plastic and water bottles etc with glass and changed my shampoo shower gel and conditioner to ‘Faith in Nature’ stuff.

Hope this helps Xx

Do you have a brand for sun cream? (I am very pale and get sun burnt easily)

This website seems to have an organic substitute for almost everything and they have sunscreen:

greenpeople.co.uk/shop/by-p...

Never tried it but have bought from the website before

Issue with all these products is they are more expensive obviously 🤦🏼‍♀️

Given the IVF cost, anything that can make it more successful is worth it!

In case you need more, just saw that the Shampoo is 25% off at Holland and Barrett at the moment

Hi hunny, i havent read the book though i know whats in it. Im toxin free at home anyway, for cleaning products i use 3 parts white vinegar 1 part water, and i add orange, lavender and frankensence oils to it. Cant even remember the last time i used shop brough cleaning stuff, except bleach because i use it down the toilet. For washing clothes i used to use the eco stuff but found it faded colours so now i use normal fabric wash, but only buy the capsules so my skin isnt exposed to it. Apart from bleach and the capsules there are no other chemicals in my house. I use tesco eco washing up liquid which lasts ages too. There are plenty of cosmetic products that are safe, i use bare minerals for make up, and some gosh cosmetics as they are paraben free. Burts bees to wash my face, and an organic face serum i found on amazon. Faith in nature are lovely products, their coconut shower gel is lush! And i use dr organics deoderant. Palmers products are also safe and really nice, such as the coco butter, and maui, also really good. Hope this helps x
