I am new to this group. Congrags to all who have recent successes. Me and my partner have been trying to conceive for 16 years without success. We have had 3 cycles of ICSI one was a very early miscarriage. No pregnancy naturally. We are planning to have a last go. I was just wanting to know if anyone is in the similar boat and I'm really nervous as I think i wasn't successful previously is it worth going for it again. Please advise.

I had also done three rounds of ICSI with one early MC and no natural pregnancies. For our fourth round, we moved clinics and changed protocols, I’m currently 6 weeks along waiting for my viability scan. Please don’t give up hope. Always here if you need to talk xx
16 years! Wow you are one strong lady. I haven't been TTC 16 years, but I have had 3 transfers and one miscarriage, similar to you, and we are going to start out fourth round in a few weeks' time. How many times you can (and want) to go through this is a completely personal decision with some people only doing it once (or not at all) and some people continuing to ten or more rounds! Emotionally and financially, as you know, it isn't something that is taken lightly. However, it is an odds' game and each cycle can be different to another, so it is worth going for it again if that is what you want. I can see myself going through this quite a few more times if the fourth round doesn't work! Please please please let it work. Welcome and thanks for reaching out! xxxx
Hi Akhta. Just wanted to wish you well if you decide to try again. If it helps, I do have a couple of lists of questions I could email you in confidence for you to look through. Most won't be appropriate, but there may be a few you could use when you see your specialist again. You will need to email me at support@fertilitynetworkuk.org Good luck! Diane
