Pain relief for Migraines after ET

Hello Everyone,

I have had a really bad migraine since this morning but nothing I have done has helped. I am aware there are various normal go to ideas/options but due to my treatment and just having my ET, these are not possible.

I would greatly appreciate any advice as cool compressed strips are only suitable for foreheads and not back of head/neck due to hair & paracetamol isn’t making a difference.

Thanks 😊

Hi Lily, I’ve never tried this but I have heard putting your feet in warm/hot water and cold flannel on back on your neck is meant to help. Hope you feel better soon. X

Definitely a cold flannel, soak a couple and put them in the freezer and alternate when one gets warm again. I also have a gel ice pack that's helpful xx

Hey Lily,

Drink a pints worth of iced cold water - so cold you get that brain freeze feeling.

Feel better soon, migraines are the worse 😔 xxx
