After 6 failed Clomid rounds we saw our consultant yesterday and have now been referred for IVF. Just getting my head round having to go through what I know will be tough mentally and physically.
My AMH is 9.7 but no issues other than that being low. Has anyone else had success with a low AMH?
Thanks xx

Hey, just wanted to wish you all the best! I dont have a success story to share of my own but I've seen ladies with way lower AMH than yours have success! Unfortunately luck has a lot to do with this process too!!xx
Hi, my AMH is also 9.7. I'm 33 and healthy with a thyroid disease and endometriosis. I think that's why my amh is low. But as cinderella said, people with lower have had success. On my baseline US the consultant saw follicles in both ovaries which was good. I am waiting for follicle tracking scan on thursday. Good luck xx
My AMH is the same as yours and I’m 34, age tends to have an impact on things as well. I’ve had a few egg collections and normally get 8-10 mature eggs. I’m currently 5 weeks pregnant x
Try not to get too hung up on it. You’re still really young so your egg quality should be good. Wishing you lots of luck ♥️
Hey Noodles! Wishing you all the luck in the world with your IVF 🍀🍀🍀🍀However my advice would be to manage your expectations as IVF is an unpredictable process, often leading to questions with no answers and lots of stress. It’s not a mathematical process for which 1+1=2. There is still lots of unknown and things can go wrong.
Please take this as a supportive advice, I am not trying to discourage you at all but I did 4 IUIs before doing IVF and no one told me these things. I walked into IVF thinking ‘well this surely is going to work, it’s such a controlled process!’ - but it didn’t and it crushed me. It took me a loooong time to recover, which is why I’m saying to you to be ready as it MAY not work.
Put your armour on, warrior 😉we’ll be here with you! 🍀🍀🍀🍀🍀🍀🍀🍀🤞🏻🍀🍀🍀🍀🍀🍀🤞🏻🤞🏻🤞🏻🤞🏻🤞🏻
Thank you!! To be honest I’m going into this expecting it not to work buy I think I should be a bit more positive. It’s a battle which is only just starting.
It’s so good to have a community to talk to and know what we are all going through xx
