I must have read a hundred posts about this, it doesn't stop me wanting to reach out for help though. I'm 5 days past transfer and just feeling so miserable. I got bad period pain yesterday and all through the night. I also had that all too familiar irritability and tears. I know that it could be the meds but I've been on them for 10 days now so why would it suddenly be now? I usually get period symptoms a week before and now I'm convinced that's what it is.
I know it's too early to tell, not even sure what I'm asking really, just wanted to reach out as this is so horrible.
Did anyone try those 6 day early pregnancy tests so they could try earlier?

I know that all too familiar feeling of thinking your period is coming but please don’t lose hope. The progesterone takes a while to build up in your system so even though you’ve been on it for 10 days, you still might be feeling side effects of it now. Early pregnancy, IVF medication and period symptoms are all so similar it’s really hard to tell what it really is.
I’ve had 4 transfers and every time I’ve had sore boobs, breakouts and cramps just like I’m getting my period and two have been BFN and two have been BFP.
You are definitely not out of the race! It’s completely your choice whether you test early, I’m not going to preach to you as I always test early 🙈 You just have to be ok with it negative as it’s still really early, most people don’t get a BFP for at least a few more days.
Thanks so much for your kind words and hearing that you had the same symptoms with different results helps. I know I need to prepare myself for whatever news and you've been through so much comparatively!
I’m right here with you, 5days past. I don’t have any symptoms except abit light headed if I get up to fast. I’m going crazy thinking about it and I promised myself this time I was going to relax and would would be would be. I had a better result at egg collection and I putting it down to stressing less... but since transfer I can’t help but be a nervous wreck 😫🤯xx
Aww massive good luck to you! It's nuts how much you can try and tell yourself something but not get anywhere. Our brains are wired in such a strange way!

I was told not to test, my bloods r on monday(3rd).
This is my 2nd cycle, my 1st time my embryo implanted so I got a bfp day 7... I was obviously so happy and actually felt pregnant... when I got my bloods the confirmed positive but said hcg wasn’t strong enough and my embryo had stoped progressing.
I totally understand now why they say not to test to early as you can get a positive very easily.
I’m still going to test as I can’t help myself!!! 🤯
That's really interesting, I hadn't heard that before. I wish they'd offered a blood test but they said to do a home test on Wed. I'll try and wait until a little bit longer. I really hope it works for you this time.
I've been struggling overnight and today to breathe in properly without pain. Still have stomach and back pain. Felt a bit lightheaded at work yesterday too. Some feelings are so new it's hard to know what's what!
I’m 8 days post and my bloodwork is tomorrow! Is that too soon?!? Either way, I feel exactly what you’re feeling...and I’m hopelessly waiting for my boobs to hurt but they don’t! This wait is awful!! I genuinely feel like I’m losing my mind! So...hang in there!!! you’re not alone! 🥰 Wishing you a BFP!
I think it's an impossible time. My pains have been changing a lot but, like you, nothing with the boobs at all! I wish you LOADS OF LUCK tomorrow, great that it's a blood test, I just have one to do at home.
I just posted something similar. I'm on day 8 have some cramps and am driving myself mad. The wait is just awful isn't it? I've not had a BFP yet so don't know what the symptoms mean but general advice seems to be that the drugs make it really hard to tell what's actually going on. Try to stay positive and I will try to take my own advice and do the the same. Wishing you lots of luck and hope you get your BFP. Xxx
Hi Daisy, yes, its horrendous!! Of all the pain from other aspects of it, this mental pain is the worst by far! I'm trying to keep busy but I'm mostly just obsessed with looking things up even though I already know the answer! Let me know how you get on, I have my fingers crossed all will be well. xx

Isn’t the 2ww just a stinker 🤣🤪 I tried to take extra notice of my symptoms before transfer so I could tell the difference but.... every post I read says that pretty much all of my symptoms are due to the progesterone gel 🤷🏼♀️😩 I felt like I had the flu last night going to bed and still achey today , body and legs. This is new but prob still progesterone build up🤣🤷🏼♀️🤪 fun times 🎉😩😆 maybe I have got the 🤧 🤒

I’m defo not testing early. I wouldn’t put my killer 👠 on early before going out to delay the amount of pain so I’ll just wait 🤯
I've kept getting hot flushes all day and a bad stomach like after egg collection. I was wondering if I have flu as well! Yep, I'd love to sleep the week away!
Morning all, I just wanted to update this. My pain got worse and worse. I tried to ignore it but finally caved and came to the hospital yesterday, I'm so glad I did.
It turns out I have OHSS, bloating that made me put 5kg on yesterday and a plueral effusion. I've been admitted and will be here for a while. I'm posting it as a reminder not to assume a lot of pain is ok. I was doing that female thing and battling on as though it's normal. It clearly isn't as the pleural effusion is because I waited so long.
Luckily none of these affect the outcome, we shall see.

I just feel absolutely massive! I'm not too bad otherwise, just feels bizarre to be hobbling around like I'm 6 months preggars! The doctor told me to get used to it haha!
It was yeah. I don't like to mention it as I know people on here are going through hell and it's so so early. God knows what might happen. But so far we're good!
Keep positive! I had cramps and sore boobs and was convinced my period was coming. I think it’s hormones, drugs, maybe even habit of the body?! I got a BFP, keep patient until OTD!! Xx
