Positive (sort of) scan re endo

I had a transvaginal scan yesterday as part of the checkups my consultant wanted me to have to check if they could spot any endometriosis in the uterus/endometriomas on the ovaries that might warrant another laparoscopy. The nurse yesterday said, 'your uterus is looking lovely' and I almost cried, lol.

You start to become so used to receiving bad news at appointments (well, I feel like I do), that it's so overwhelming when they make a positive comment. Since our failed IVF in Oct last year, I needed to hear that my body is trying it's best to do what it's supposed to do.

I will be making a follow-up appointment in the next few weeks to come to discuss the results of my MRI together with the scan from yesterday and I hope they tell me that I WON'T be needing a laparoscopy and that we may continue to TTC naturally.

Hope everyone is well - sending a squish to anyone who needs it xx

haha - tell me about it. Honestly, I was grinning like an idiot all day yesterday and kept saying to my hubby 'my uterus is lovely, you know'. I am sure he thinks I've lost the plot, haha. How are you getting on, lovely? x

Ha ha ha that sounds like something I'd do!!😁🤣 I'm sure our hubby's think we are on another planet, which of course we are....the more intelligent one!😜 I'm doing ok, I actually got a little but of good news myself. Had a scan this morning, lining was 7.4mm which is unheard of at this stage and has a triple line. So I too have a beautiful uterus according to my coordinator!!🙌🏻xx

Oh that really is good news 👏🏽 Is it a FET you’re having this time? Sorry, I’m sure you’ve mentioned before but I’ve forgotten! And honestly, it’s the nicest compliment I’ve had in ages (even if it is about my uterus 😂). Our poor hubby’s 🙈🤣 x

Well it will be kind of....its DE but they are fresh. So im prepped like a frozen transfer but for a fresh blastocyst....hopefully all being well of course!! My hubby is used to my random comments and I read him a lot from here....just to make sure he knows I'm not the only crazy lady!!🤣xxx
