If you’re using the progesterone vaginal inserts you can expect all kinds of surprises! The vaginal progesterone causes your cervical mucous to dry up, and it can come in an assortment of colors including black. Sometimes dried up material can form into accumulations of sizes such that it becomes uncomfortable. Some women remove these in the shower. It seems doctors and health care providers seldom provide this information. Your blasto sticks inside the uterus so it shouldn’t be effected by the thickened mucous.

I haven’t started progesterone yet. It’s just estrogen in the form of patches and tablets

The normal function of vaginal estrogen is to increase cervical mucous. As your endometrium thickens it’s not unusual to have little bleeds here and there - nothing to disturb your blasto. I’m guessing this may be where the brown color comes from. I’m sure you’re fine, but to reassure yourself you should call your provider. ( : good luck!

It continue until I started the progesterone. But the lining kept getting thicker so the dr was worried, aha sis this can happen. It stopped when I started the progesterone and started up again after day 2 of my transfer. I called the clinic and they said it wasn’t anything to worry about, but I have worried the whole time. Hcg bloods later in the week to see if anything has worked. We will see x
