I hope someone can put my mind at ease. I ordered my ivf medication from ASDA pharmacy as it worked out much cheaper. The medication included lubion vials. However they had kept these refrigerated, I questioned this as when I got them from clinic they were at room temperature.
I checked the box and it said do not refrigerate. I called the pharmacist who said they will still be valid and are fine to use.
They are so expensive and I’m worried now that they may not work properly.
Anyone had any experience of this?

I haven’t any experience with lubion but when I had my meds delivered I was advised to keep in fridge but anything I got from the clinic wasn’t taken from a fridge. I panicked one day as I had collected some and forgot to put in fridge and they said it was fine and it’s more about keeping them refrigerated if not using within the next few months or so.
If you’re worried though, call your clinic to put your mind at rest xxx
I have them room temperature now as that is what’s advised on the box. I’m just worried that them refrigerating them for a few days may have ruined them x
Hiya, I thought I’d replied to this but seems I didn’t!
As it specifies not to refrigerate I’d be tempted to check with the manufacturer if you suspect the pharmacy has stored it that way prior to you getting it. Like you say it’s a lot of money and a really important step, you don’t need an extra worry/nagging doubt in your head. Xx
If the pharmacist said it would be ok, I'm sure it will be fine! A pharmacy refrigerator is not the same as your home refrigerator, which is likely to be colder and damper. xx
