Changing protocol

Has anybody gotten a positive response changing protocol??,after 12 days of swimming i only v 1 follicle,d doctor s saying am going to v to stop d stimming,they would use another protocol instead

I’m on my third protocol. I was on menopur first, then Gonal F and finally a combination of the two. All of my previous three cycles were abandoned prior to egg collection. I finally had egg collection today so it’s definitely a good thing. They just need to find the meds and dose that work for you. I completely understand how frustrating it is though.

Wow!!!_thanks for the prompt response,i.just pray dt wateva protocol d dr prescribes works diz time,in my first failed cycle was on follisurge,cetrotide,hcg bruserelin,18 follicles,with 18 eggs,though it ended in failed implantation,

This time i was placed on bruserellin 0.5ml,menotropin 225iu,3 amp of saline water,and just 1 follicle after 12 days of stimming, will b 32 by next month

Absolutely. Got 4 eggs with Menopur first cycle (AMH was 12 at the time). Switched to Gonal-F since then and got 9 eggs at one cycle (AMH of 8.4). Good luck! xx

Hi, im on my 1st cycle, egg collection tomorrow. I had natural modified, i only have around 5 follicles and low amh, so lots of stims were pointless. So far so good. Ive had menopur 150mg for 4 days, the one that stops ovulation i forget the name, and my trigger shot. My follicles responded really well and i have one big one for them to collect tomorrow, it was 19 on sunday. If you dont have many follicles like me maybe you should change. My clinic said lots of stimms are pointless in my situation.

Owkkk,but would i have to wait for another period to start d new protocol??,or how is it going to b done,though i wud b seeing d dr 2mao,wouldn't mind to v a heads up,to help me ask questions,thanks

I would think you would need a fresh cycle as all they can do now is adjust your meds, which they said can work too sometimes. And check your clinic would do a mild cycle because my old one didnt so i changed and i obviously dont know the outcome yet, but its been plain sailing so far since we actually started. Also ive had no side effects at all because the dose was so low, but enough to stimulate the follicles i have well enough.

Yes, I went from 3 eggs and 2 fertilised on long protocol to 13 eggs and 7 fertilised on short protocol x
