We have been seen today for our first consultation and it's all going ahead pretty quickly with where I am in my cycle.
I've been told to shop around for meds as we are privately funding and costs can differ. I've heard ASDA is the cheapest. Has anyone found anywhere else? We live in the North East and have a few pharmacies to chose from and Stork which is based at the womens clinic in Darlington. Thank you x

I also went to asda as they give you the basic price for fertility drugs....they dont make a profit. Doesnt mean they are the cheapest for everything though. Get a couple of quotes.xx
Thank you. Is it a case of checking each item cost or do they do bundles? We havent got the list of meds yet but am expecting the list tomorrow and we need them by 31st. Did they take long to order?x
its checking each item against what your clinic would charge. There are also some online pharmacies but when I phoned up they were more expensive than the clinic.
I ended up getting the menopur from Asda. Im on a high dose at 450 a day and it was £11 cheaper per 150 at Asda compared to the clinic. The bad side is you have to pay for your meds from Asda first and you cannot take any back for a refund. So for example I ordered 33 x 150 menopur for 11 days stims. Im now day 15 and had to get the last 4 days from the clinic as Asda cant get the menopur in the same day.
The trigger for me is way more expensive at Asda which seems odd.
