In total shock!!

We spent 4 years having IVF, I had surgery 3 times, a lot of heartbreak then eventually the most amazing baby girl.

She is now 4, and we just had another FET, natural cycle, all very blasé, expecting it to be negative but at least we could say we tried all the Frosties we had.

Guess what, this morning, with me aged almost 45, it looks like I have a BFP.

I’m just in shock! Absolute shock.

Not told OH yet. I only did the test on a whim expecting a BFN.

Wonderful news! Congrats!!! Did you do anything to prepare for your FET, eg taking supplements and doing acupuncture if you wouldn't mind me asking? I am 42 and am going through my second ivf cycle. Thanks! X

Absolutely nothing! Ate and drank a bit more sensibly than usual over Christmas and took folic acid. Nothing else at all.

I did all of that stuff (acupuncture etc) first time around and it caused more stress than it alleviated.
