Hey hun. Depends on the clinic really you should ask them about it. My clinic wanted me to have withdrawal bleed after the failed one, one normal bleed and then I was able to start with the third bleed so let’s say about 3 months. I had a fresh transfer in May and then frozen one at the end of August xxx
Depends if it’s fresh you have to have one or two periods before you can do retrieval again. If it’s FET I had 2 back to back with no break. Good luck xx
At my clinic it’s a minimum of 2 months between cycles. I did 3 frozen cycles back to back this way. Good luck x
Hey hun..
It actually all depends on your body. My first IVF cycle - fresh embryo was on 21st October 2019. I was pregnant and had a miscarriage at 12 weeks, did my d&c on the 31st December 2019. Ive got my period after 10 days now (january cycle), and my dr said I can proceed for next frozen embryo transfer after my february cycle.
Some will suggest to wait 3-6 months, and I know waiting can be too frustrating, but if u feel your body is good to go, just get the lining tested after your 2nd cycle, and your good to go hun! I hope this helps.
I had failed cycle( fresh cycle) in jan 2019.
Was asked to wait for 3 months for frozen cycle, due to delay I had frozen transfer in June 2019.
Yes if you are well get lining checked, but worth 3 Months wait for body to recover from fresh cycle.
In Three month let body completely recover, be stressed free, get more of good natural whole food, prepare your body for conceiving.
More important is being stressed free,
Hope this helps
Best of luck
my clinic didn’t make me wait at all, although FET ended in miscarriage it worked and was straight after the fresh one .
Ive had to wait around 3 months after my chemicals but my clinic would have let me transfer sooner again had they been a complete negative. Its very clinic dependent really. I hope you're doing as well as you can be after the terrible loss of your father.xx
Hey dear
I am still not through with my dad's loss ,I get nightmares almost everyday...still in my stages of grievance and everyday I convince myself that dad has moved on to other life .......yes compare to last month am getting use to my grievance and I have to move with it all my life...and feeling of adult orphanage made me suffocate alot last month but I am learning to move ahead with this pain....
I have lost interest in ivf and having kids too...
But my husband is sooo keen on having kids so this Month I thought of trying...but frankly I have completely lost interest in ivf, injection, scan etc and kids...
You sound like you are coping as well as you can do lovely. I dont think anyone ever gets over losing a parent but just learns to cope day by day and do what they can to keep going. My heart goes out to you, its been a very difficult time for you and still is. Im sure you are numb from doing IVF on top of everything and can sympathise in that respect, Im not jumping for joy to be starting again either but I also know I cannot stand still and in a way need to get this over with....perhaps not the best attitude to have but after 5 BFNS and 2 losses Im just pulling myself through it until I get to the end regardless of what happens. Sending love and hugs.xxx
