Hey my lovely ladies hope you are all well and looking forward to the Festive season π
I need a bit of an advice. So I had 2 miscarriages conceived naturally and 2 chemicals this year from fresh transfer and FET. I had lupus and antibodies tests done and all came back normal. But I still think there must be something that can be done to increase the chances of an embryo developing.
I have one last frozen embryo with my clinic and will have the last go in January. Should I ask again for any baby aspirin or Clexane or anything? I really want to know everything possible have been done ππππππ

And doesnt your clinic prescribe you with low dose steroids during your TWW for a some days to prevent miscarriage....and plus it takes care of lupus too....
Do ask your clinic about the same ...
I think only few clinics prescribe steroids for during TWW......but it works
Thanks hun thank God Iβm fine now I mean life goes on and I canβt really change what happened but carry on. My clinic seems like they like everything as natural as it could be. I asked number of times what can we change, what can we do. The only thing they agreed to do was Lupus and antibodies and all came back normal and they think there is nothing we can do but proceed with transferring my last embryo ππππ
I think there is no harm in asking about baby aspirin. I had a slight clotting factor and my lining is always thin so I get presecribed clexane as it increases blood flow to the uterus. I also asked for low dose steriod cover, prednisolone. Not all clinics believe in steriods but in the 2 cycles that Ive had it I got positives having never had a positive before. I know you're sorted your progesterone cover out so you have that one. I recently did an ERA test which is not cheap, but I have discovered that my implanation window is out for the normal which may have also caused my CP's.xx
Hope you are doing well hun! You know Iβve been following you for a while π I did ask cause it seems my clinic doesnβt really think they need to do any further tests and just want to get on with my last transfer and see what happens. But I do believe if I had 2 successful transfers in a row with two followed chemicals they should of been more interested in finding the reason but instead they just want me to do my last fet on the nhs and get it done. I got hit annoyed with kee asking them what can we do and if there is anything we can change. I will just have my last transfer and if it doesnβt work carry on with ivf in Turkey xxx
Howβs everything with you? ππππ and Merry Christmas by the way! Hope 2020 will be a great year for us!!!!
I found that the NHS had a very one size fits all approach too unfortunately. Not that I wasnt grateful for my cycles but they never did look outside the box. Hopefully you wont have to go to Turkey and this is the one for you. It could have just been bad luck so far....here's hoping thats about to change!
Im doing ok thanks. Im looking to go to Greece again around end of Jan to transfer early Feb so will see how things go this time.xx
Hey lovely, sorry for your losses. When I had my 2nd MC I was advised to increase my folic acid to 5mg as the one I was taking within pregnacare supplements (400mg) wasnβt deemed as enough. I also take 75mg aspirin but I do have high BP so when they changed my meds to suit any upcoming pregnancies they advised to take aspirin too - Iβve been told not to stop taking it.
It may be worth asking about aspirin as well as folic acid increase (has to be a prescription or bought online) xxx
Hey hun thanks for your reply. I did ask them number of times for tests and medication but the only think we did was Lupus and antibodies which came back normal so they just want me to carry on with the existing plan and do no changes πππ
Hi there! How are you? First of all, i am really sorry for what you have been through. I hope things get better for you. About the medicine, that is something only your doctor can help you with. Because he's the one with all detailed information, in my opinion it won't be bad to ask for baby aspirin. I have also heard some people got help by increasing their folic acid. I will pray that things work out for you. A healthy diet plus some exercise/yoga will also help you out. But first ask your doctor about it. My blessings are with you hon. You have to take good care of yourself. Goodluck! Goodbye!
Hey hey Iβm very well thank you and I hope you are well too. I would always follow my doctorβs advice but I just needed some ideas of what I can ask for. ππππ
Hi! I hope you are doing better now. I am so sorry for your failed attempts. I also struggled for years and when it worked out for me, trust me i forgot every second of that struggle. The moment you hold the baby in your hands for the first time, you will know it was worth it. I am not so good this medicine stuff, my husband took care of all that for me. But always when you have any doubt about something, consult your doctor. It's better to not try anything stupid. Professional advice will help you and also make sure that you are avoiding any bad thing. Which means that you will be prepared the next time you are opting for any treatment. Take care. Good luck! Stay blessed. Bye!
Aww Iβm glad you had your happy ending/ beginning. Iβm pretty sure once I have a baby I will also forget all the struggles. I did ask for advice but trust I wouldnβt take anything just like that. I just needed ideas of what I can ask the doctor for π₯°π₯°π₯°ππ
Hi there! How are you? I hope you are doing well. It's not an easy thing to deal with all this. I can't tell you what medicine to take and what not to, so I won't say anything about that. Because I am not aware of your health. So that's something only your doctor can tell you. Don't take any medicine before consulting him. You have done everything so now just sit back and pray. Pray that it works out for you, I will also pray for you. Take care. Good luck! Stay blessed. Bye!
Thanks hun. Iβm doing fine and Iβm just waiting for my last fet with my clinic. I wouldnβt take any medicines without consulting with doctor it just seems like they donβt think of changing anything and I was gathering ideas of what I can ask the doctor for π I had to ask 3 times what can we do in order for them to do Lupus and antibodies test.... Take care hun and all the best in the New Year! π
Few friends of mine been on Clexane and aspirin and had a success π Mu clinic has quite high success rates as well letβs hope they give me something too ππ
