Hot flushes in 2WW

Has anyone else had hot flushes on their 2WW? They started last night and I don’t know what this means. I didn’t have them in my first cycle! Xxx

Yes tender breasts but they have become less tender the past few days. My nipples are bigger too! and today I’m feeling stressed and low in mood. I didn’t really have these symptoms with our first cycle so trying to make sense of it all! Xx

I feel the same today. Really not in the best mood and tender breasts (but I think that’s the progesterone) and nipples seem bigger. Praying for us 🙏🙏

I have felt exactly the same... keep getting really hot especially at night and having loads of dreams. My boobs are hot and heavy and my nipples are huge!! I looked in the mirror and they didn't look like mine at all, they were almost cone shaped.

Keep getting headaches and feel really moody and sarcastic.

I'm due to test tomorrow so have just bought a couple of pregnancy tests... I hope this has all been worthwhile. Good luck to you xxx

How did it go? I tested today and got a BFN. I’m very surprised! My breast is so painful and heavy and my nipples are big!

I think hot flushes it’s one of the side effects of progesterone.

Ah yes! Ok. I am on mire this time too but for a week, and symptoms only started last night 🧐

Sometimes the side effects only appear with a certain level.

Because you had a fresh cycle, Progesterone can also be produced by the corpus luteum in the early pregnancy period.

Hi, I had hot flushes. One of the first symptoms that made me wonder if it had worked. I never took progesterone so may not be down to that in your case too. Fingers crossed for you!!!x

I remember very clearly sitting at my desk and getting a hot flush and thinking ‘that’s strange, it’s not hot’ and needing turn on my desk fan. I thought it may have been a symptom but I wasn’t sure and Now believe it was. Best of luck Kitscat...x

Did you have breast or nipples sore? With my previous pregnancy I had sore nipples but i don’t remember at what stage it started. I don’t now but I surely have bigger nipples and pain on top and outer of the breast.

I had such terrible hot flushes before my BFP, like from day2 post5d transfer. Became worst after I had an implantation spotting. Hot flush was so horrible I wake up burning . I don’t know if this helps.

I also got hot flushes during my 2WW and was exactly like you, wondering what it meant and whether it was a good or bad sign or just the progesterone. After an agonising wait I got a BFP on Wednesday so you never know. Best of luck xx

This is what I’m like! I haven’t had a flush since yesterday and my boobs are less painful now. Ahh!! I test in about a week so not long now!! I had cramping last night too but I don’t know if that was bowel spasms. Ahhh!! Xx

I got hot flushes in my 2ww and really bad night sweats. I was sleeping with the windows open in November much to my husbands dismay. I think it’s to do with the extra progesterone we are taking but I hadn’t had it on my previous cycles and it was a good sign for me!! Best of luck for OTD.

Excellent! Knowing my luck it’ll be a bad sign for me! But we will see!

I’m going for acupuncture today, did anyone else do acupuncture in their 2WW??
