Finally!

Hello dear readers,

I haven't been here for ages... I wrote about starting my surrogacy program last time and today I want to share with you some news. Finally, 4 months later, I've received a letter from my clinic with the notification that a surrogate has been found for me. My coordinator contacted me and told that we'll start our stimulation program soon.

Great news, got my fingers crossed for you xx

How much time did this process take in general (from the very beginning)? Only 4 months? Very quickly, congrats xx

Unfortunately, it is the very beginning of my surrogacy journey. I have signed the contract in August and have been just waiting till they find a surrogate for us. Due to my low AMH, I was going to use donor eggs, but my dr wants me to check it once again. I'll be able to have MRT in case the level is 0.5 at least. If it turns out good, I'll have a chance to have my own baby.

Wow, hope it will turn out good! In which clinic are you planning to have MRT? 'cause in the UK it is quite complicated

Unfortunately, they didn't allow me to have mrt due to the low amh😢. They told me that I don't have any chances. But, you know, I wasn't to upset as in any case I have a surrogate and a good chance to get good news this year. The egg retrieval was several days ago and ET is going to be tomorrow! Can wait any more😒 Fingers crossed🤞

Hi, I have just had my 7th failed round of ivf and we are considering surrogacy. Can I ask which clinic you chose and why? I feel completely overwhelmed by the choice. Thanks for your help.

I remember that feeling... I remember how I was on the crossroad and didn't know what to do and where to go. We had been choosing an appropriate place for about a year and stopped our choice on the Ukrainian clinic. Low prices have probably played the leading role. We have chosen biotex because of their very convenient packages

Hello! we have been their patients for sometime before we've moved to another clinic in Kyiv. The way they treat their patients is awful, doing everything to maintain contact before signing contracts, after - you are just being ignored. The prices they offer are not the lowest while the service they offer certainly is.

Tnx for such kind words! What about you? When is going to b your next cycle, next transfer? Your previous one was canceled if I'm not mistaken😢 What are you going to do next?

Ahh you’re welcome. I’m a bit in limbo at the moment. My last cycle was cancelled due to my thin lining (they don’t think I responded to the medication very well). So they’ve referred me for a hysteroscopy, which I’ve now been told may not be till early March 😫. They said it was only very per cautionary (as I had surgical management in Oct and there may be some scar tissue, but it’s probably unlikely) and if I want to attempt another FET in the meantime then I can. So I’m debating whether to wait or just go for it in Jan!! Totally torn at the moment 😕 x

Oh, I see... I think that I can't help you in this case or give any advice as I 'm not a doctor and not aware of the situation from inside, you know. AFM, it's hard to say, what I would do if I were you. I'm more likely to listen, my doctors, as they understand what to do in a particular situation. I hope they know what they are doing

I know, they’ve put the decision in my hands really. I’m so impatient to get started again, but want everything to be right. Just going to enjoy Xmas for now and then reevaluate in the new year x
