Loop done- now got to wait for my womb to heal 😔

I should be feeling relieved that the technology we have has possibly saved my life. Saved me from developing cervical cancer but all I can feel is sad. I know that it won’t affect us having ICSI but worried i May have complications when we start. 6 weeks of recovery and the we can begin in the new year.

Starting to feel very down and deflated now- especially as it’s Christmas. I just thought this year would be different 😔.

Work is keeping my mind busy but I am drained, drained of feeling these sad feelings, my body healing and the fact you have to be happy this time of year. I am ready for the holidays ❄️.

My new work place seems to have a few ladies who have or who are going through fertility treatment. I haven’t bucked up the courage to speak to them yet but just knowing someone in your building has the same feelings as you just makes you feel you aren’t alone.

My best friend has just had her baby girl. I cried and was so mad at myself but I just couldn’t help it. I am worried it will put a wedge in our friendship so I think I need to have a chat with her and if she’s the friend I think she is then we will be all fine.

Hi Dace. Do take up any offers of counselling if you can, as it is sooo hard going through this. There is a charity called the "British Infertility Counselling Association" who deal solely with all fertility issues and your relationships while going through treatment. there is a charge and you have to contact them online at bica.net as they do not have a direct phone number.
