Egg collection approaching & I’ve a high right ovary, any suggestions how to shake it into a better position?!

Hello,

My wife & I are under going our first round of IVF (after 6 failed IUIs).

I’m a healthy 35 year old and been doing all the greatest things to help improve my fertility over the last 20 months, when we discovered I had a low AMH of 2.1.

Currently on day 11 of stims, my scan on day 6 showed 1 follicle in my left ovary and 3 follicles in my right. Yesterday (day 10) showed all growing well, but seems there only 2 of my right side now. I know I’ll never get high numbers of follicles (never did during my stimulated IUIs), but 3 growing nicely is one up for me 👍🏻 So fingers crossed they keep growing nicely together.

Anyway my question was, has anyone had a high, very difficult positioned ovary, that is so tricky to find on scans (both internally and externally) and have you managed to wiggle it somehow into a better position?? My egg retrieval all being well should be this Wednesday, Tuesday I’ll be enjoying laxatives (prescription from the clinic) to clear out my bowels in the hope this will help them access my right ovary better. I’m going for some reflexology too, to help with the moving.. but is there anyone out there who has experienced my concern and been able to move their ovary? I really hope they can retrieve all my follicles 🤞🏻

Thank you in advance 🙂

I’m not sure if it’s too late for a Mizan massage. My acupuncturist does them on women with a tilted womb. However you might not be able to have it if you are already on stimms. I don’t suppose you live in Manchester do you? If so I can pass on her details.

Hello thank you for your message. I use to live in Manchester, but I live hundreds of miles away now. I do have a good Accupunturist locally though, so maybe this is something I can try. Thank you kindly for your suggestion 🙏
