So last night and today I've been feeling very uncomfortable with a huge distended tummy, awful trapped wind pains (most of the time im stooped over and cant stand up straight), and some discomfort with breathing. I am 8dp3dt with 2 embryos transferred. My clinic have requested I come up in morning early to get checked. There has been no confirmation as yet that it is late OHSs...but my gut (literally and metaphorically) is saying it is. Anyone any experience of these symptoms and is it possibly game over for us if it is. I'm a bundle of nerves. Thanks in advance x

It does sound like late onset OHSS which happened to me too, perhaps a bit earlier than you’ve got it. I felt the same as you do now and it was confirmed as moderate OHSS when I went into the clinic.
The good news is that it’s not definitely game over - late onset is sometimes a sign that it’s worked and the pregnancy hormones have kicked in. And then it’s not harmful for the embryo - just makes you feel like crap! That’s what happened to me on my third round and now I’m into my second trimester! Someone else on here recently had the same experience too.
Hope all goes ok, good luck and drink plenty of water!
I was hospitalised with late onset OHSS in March after a double transfer and it meant good news for us. Both stuck, hence why the OHSS (I think it’s common in twin pregnancy’s). I’m nursing my son as we speak from that late onset OHSS! Good luck, definitely go get it checked and CatCee right in the fact you’ll be uncomfortable for a while if so xxx
