Has anyone had success with 3 day transfer and slow developing embryo?

This is my first round of IVF ICSI and of the six eggs collected only 1 fertilised 😢 They plan to transfer tomorrow which will be a 3 day transfer. I had a call from embryologist this morning and she mentioned that it’s also developing slower than they would expect and she will call tomorrow before I leave for my appointment in case it’s not needed. Feeling really deflated and like our situation is pretty hopeless. Has anyone had success with 3 day transfer and slow developing embryo? Thanks xx

Hi. I have had success with a 3 day transfer but couldn’t tell you if any were slow developers - sorry. I just wanted to wish you luck and remember that the best place for the embryo is back inside you. Good luck and I hope tomorrow you get good news from your call xx

Hi Bizzlebee. I've said this before, thaat when I first started out in the fertility business, we only did Day 2 and Day 3 transfers, as we didn't have the expertise to grow embryos to Day 5 blastocysts. We still had plenty of live births, so let's hope you're going to be added to that list. Little one hopefully will be transferred back where he/she belongs. Diane
