So this morning my gf took a pregnancy test day 12 past iui treatment. There was a very faint line. Does this mean she’s pregnant or will it be from the Ovitrelle shot she took on Friday? So confused 🤷‍♀️

I would say day 12 is a good day to test and a positive is promising on that day however wait until day 14 and after these are the most accurate but from past experiences my positives have shown up before the 14 days....it’s all a waiting game....wish you both luck xxxx

Thank you, it was faint but there was definitely a line. Just hope it’s positive and not a false results xx

Test again tomorrow and then again Saturday. If it’s getting stronger then brilliant xxxx I would more likely think new pregnancy rather than drugs at this stage

Hi Emma,

Keep testing daily that's what we've been doing and hopefully your line will get stronger gradually 🤞🤞☺️🙏 x

Just checked the test again from this morning and it’s even more faded is this normal? Did you get a BFP? 😀

Some tests say on the box that the results can fade after 10 minutes. Depending on the brand of test I think.

My wife has had 4 positive tests this week each line slightly stronger but her OTD is tomorrow so hoping that it's still there in morning due to her spotting and having groin pain.

When is your girlfriend's OTD? ☺️

It was just cheap ones we got for the time being as we know it’s still early. Curiosity got the better of us as she said she was feeling bloated and had stomach cramp like period pain. That’s good signs good luck to you both ☺️

Sorry what does OTD mean? I’m new to all this 😬🙈xx

Thank you ☺️

Your OTD is official test date....being the date your hospital have give you to do a pregnancy test ☺️

We just use the cheap ones too, as we say if it's there it's there, the price of a test won't change that!

Stay positive we've been through IUI ourselves it's not easy. X

I thought it was that but wasn’t sure 🙈, Monday is the official test date. Omg I really hope it’s positive for you and your gf I’m sure it will be with what you are saying 😀 we got Clearblue ones last night aswell but keeping them for the weekend 😬 good luck tomorrow 🤞🤞🤞🤞xx

Aww thank you 😊

If Monday is your test date I'd say it's a little bit too early for a concrete result, only going off personal experience. However it can show on a test as soon as hCG levels are in her blood, whether faint or not. So that's a positive sign!

We tested 4 days early and have done one daily since but that's just causing us to overthink 😔🤔

I hope your positive result gets stronger 🤞🤞🤞☺️ x

The overthinking is the worst i couldn’t sleep last night and I have work tonight nightshift. Least my mind will be kept busy and not over think.

We will be taking a test again tomorrow morning probably right up to Monday morning. This is our first ever iui so if it works first time that would just be amazing. And it’s not cheap! Really hope you get a positive tomorrow I’m sure you will let the forum know 😀 x

Yeah keep yourself busy and mark off days on calendar that helps us to see how far you've both come ☺️

Don't think we've slept for 6 years!😔

Miracles can happen for us all so hoping we all get a positive outcome 🤞☺️ Good luck for Monday 🍀🍀🍀 x
