AFC scan

Hi everyone. I’m looking for some advice. I had my AFC scan today. Im starting my first cycle of IVF. So this is all new to me. It’s the third day of my cycle, and they have found 9 follicles in both ovaries. I’m just wondering if that’s low? As I’ve been busy googling, and stressing myself out 🙈 It says that that is a low amount, and my success rate for IVF is low 🙄 I’m so confused. I know I should have asked when I was in there. But didn’t think too. Anyone advice would be great.

Don’t panic! I think I had something like 7 in each. They’ll look after you and manage your drugs so you respond well. I think you get more follicles with the boosting drugs. Everyone is so different, and it’s so easy to compare to others. Listen to what the clinic tell you, if they’re concerned they’ll let you know xxx

Hello. I only had 3 follicles in total. 2 on my left and one on my right. We were successful first round and I’m now 27weeks pregnant. Best of luck to you 🤞🏻✨Xx
