8dp3dt- light pink spotting

Had a pretty up and down day, after barely 4 hours sleep have felt emotional and anxious all morning.

Went for walk to clear my head, on checking my fitbit this afternoon I notice my heart rate went up to 166bpm when out walking. I would only ever reach this when running. In fact checking back I reach more like 150bpm being the very highest on a 5k run.

I read on here and seen articles about this happening as a positive sign during the 2ww/early pregnancy. Anyone any experiences with this ? Maybe shot up today as just implanting 🤞🏼 ( would it implant as late as 8dpt) ?

So allowed myself to feel a bit more positive and been outside gardening to take my mind off things.

Anyway just went to toilet and on wiping noticed very slight pink discharge. Now initially I was filled with dread as this usually tells me AF is on her way.... however am not due until Wednesday and usually am bang on 28days or longer.

Has anyone had a BFP and experienced pink spotting around 8dpt ?

Only other time I’ve experienced similar and had my BFP was after having a double transfer so I always felt that was the second one not working. This time though I only had a single transfer and am panicking a bit 🙈

Oh I feel for you! I think it could be implantation bleeding? If you’re on progesterone it can’t be your period - but don’t know if you are?! Thinking of you, big hug

Am hoping could be implantation bleeeding. I am on progesterone and last time had BFN I didn’t get a proper period until stopped. However I did have spot bleeding at 10dpt then but was brown blood. So telling myself this could be completely different 🤞🏼

Sounds very different! You shouldn’t get a period until a couple of days after stopping the progesterone. Pink is clearly fresh blood which could well be implantation bleeding! I’m so crossing my fingers for you that it is!

Yes am feeling bit better now as reading bout women who spotted pink blood at this stage & went on to get BFP.

It was the tiniest speck really.... but still we analyse everything 🙈

Aww sweetie it’s such a worrying time and I completely get how you are feeling! I had some spotting at 7dpt with a single embryo on Wednesday and cramping but a test showed a faint positive that day so goodness knows what it means 🤷🏻‍♀️

Last transfer I had the same and told myself it was maybe one of the embryos Not sticking as I did show a positive for a couple of weeks. This time is a single transfer so I’m just praying it was implantation 🤞🏽

Can you ask your clinic about maybe Testing and upping your progesterone? Although it can also be the progesterone Causing the spotting so it’s mainly just a waiting game I think! 🙈 Might be a idea to take it easy for a wee bit?

Hi Twiglet, relieved to know you’ve had similar. Am not brave enough to test but am really hopeful now that this is actually a good sign. If you had a positive then that is fab & am hopeful your line will get darker 🤞🏼

I have taken it really easy until today and decided to do some weeding to keep my mind occupied. So was straight after that I had the spotting....so back to sunbathing it is 😎😂

Am thinking of asking my Clinic about checking am on enough progesterone (am on 2 x pessaries per day) so will Defo call them tomorrow.

I would say you are totally doing the right thing not testing. I wouldn’t say it was brave more impatient/silly 😂 really hoping it was a positive sign for us both 💕 happy sunbathing! It’s cloudy up here in Scotland (again 😂) xx

It’s very hard not to test early. I have done it in past and never again 🙈 My OTD is a week today 🤞🏼

I'm in my 4dp d2t. Just having twinges and minor cramps. I have had a bfn in the past, I'm busy justsymptom spotting. Let's keep our fingers crossed. Hopefully waiting for your positive update in due time.

Ugh I’m on day 6 and have convinced myself today that my discharge is ever so slightly discoloured 😖 I think I’m reading too much in to it. However I also noticed that my heart rate seems a bit faster, and stronger too, almost palpitations so hoping it’s a good sign. Fingers crossed for you xxx

Yes supporting each other is so important! I was very blessed to fall pregnant naturally and I am now 11 weeks, waiting to take the prenatal tests .. fingers crossed!!

Am feeling quite hopeful, had little bit more spotting today and looking back my diary I had spotting from the start of my second week with my last BFP 🤞🏼

YES when I got my BFP on my 2nd round I was literally dripping pink watery discharge for 24 hours and I thought I was out.. that was at 6dp5dt so literally the same day xx

I had three that round, it didnt end well but that was likely due to my blood clotting issues.. it was a singleton pregnancy and they said it was classic implantation. it lasted 2 days xx

Hey am ok.., experienced pink / red spotting for 3 days. Had nothing last 2 days so doesn’t appear to be developing into a full bleed which am hopeful is a good sign. 🤞🏼

I notice your symptoms are coming and going. That’s exactly how I feel. Not sleeping great, tired, grumpy.

Been trying to keep busy but just want to hide myself away can’t concentrate on anything.

Scared to test early 🙈 We are away all weekend staying with family so am actually having to delay by OTD by a day and test Monday.

Hope you are ok ? It’s horrible this 2ww absolute torture x

Thank you, hoping fact I had 3 days of pink /red very light spotting is a good sign. I really feel if was gonna develop into a full on bleed then it would’ve by now. Had 2 days of no spotting 🤞🏼

Af was due yesterday so am feeling bit more positive 🙏🏻

Very horrible 2weeks of sleeplessness. I think I'm reacting to the cyclogest while inserting into my vagina. I had to switch to my anus which has given me peace. Hope that is ok too...I can't wait for my OTD so that I can sleep fine. Let's try and stay positive ❤️💕

Not at all. I just have minor cramps, breast changes and other side effects from the cyclogest. I cramped more on my 4dp d2t. After that, I'm just there.... just minor twinges. Hoping for the best.
