Does endometriosis affect implantation?

I have been told I have a 2cm chocolate cyst which is obviously impacting ovarian reserves. I have had 2 frozen rounds with DE and they both failed. One was CP and the other was BFN. Can anyone tell me if my endo is affecting implantation pls? I don't have usual endo symptoms except very painful periods.

No you need laparoscopy to diagnose and tell you what stage you are! I have had excision surgery too before starting ivf in 2015.

When you have a lap does that remove endo or just diagnose it.

You can have a lap that is purely diagnostic, or you can have one to operate and remove the endo.

Mine was so bad they couldn’t do anything at that time as it was around the bowel too so had to wait for another op 6 months later.

Everyone is different and endo effects fertility on different ways. First you need to get diagnosed my lovely xxx

Endometriosis can create a hostile environment, yes, and it can affect the quality of the endometrium.

It is completely possible to conceive with a chocolate cyst in place. But, if there is severe, widespread endometriosis throughout the pelvic cavity and causing lots of inflammation, it could be having a negative effect on implantation.

Basic answer is they don't know. Not enough evidence either way. I've got stage 4 endo. First icsi ivf worked, the second fet didn't
