Has Clomid halted my period.

Hi.

I started my first round of Clomid this week on day 2 of my period. Yesterday, day 3, I did not bleed at all nor have I today thus far. Is it possible that the Clomid has halted my period?

Clomid did exactly the same thing to me. I ended up after 6 months on it (4 months on, 1 month off, 2 months on) with a period that lasted 1.5 days. Unfortunately, Clomid thins your uterine lining which means there is just less and less to slough off in a normal period. It's a less great side-effect that I must confess no one told me about. Also, it extended my cycles from 29 days to 32 days.

Sadly no. But we just got a BFP from DE IVF, so if this does not work for you, there are definitely still options out there. Wish you all the best xx

Wow congratulations! We've already been told my best chance is egg donation but we asked to try this first. I'm a bit older than a lot of woman TTC. X
