Test day looming

Omg these 2 weeks, I've felt every emotion going.

I'm on a nightshift Thursday night and my test is due on Friday. Obviously they say your first pee of the day is the best one to use for the test. But with me being awake all night when I get home is not going to be my first pee of the day.

Should I try sleep Friday morning and then do it after I wake not that I think I will get any sleep either way but do need some as I'm back on night shift Friday night.

X

Ooh that's a tricky one. Maybe ask the clinic? Maybe see what others on here say today. And well done for getting through it. Its torture! You're doing great. I will be thinking of you on test day and wishing you all the luck in the world xxx

Ohhh I feel your pain!!!

I have kept my self so busy in a desperate attempt to ignore the ‘waiting for Christmas day’ feeling!

My test day is Sunday and I am terrified that if I wake up at 3am for a wee ( something I do a lot ) will I have to do the test then??? It’s so stupid but I’m so scared I’ll do it wrong!🤷‍♀️

Good luck for tomorrow- I’ll be thinking of you xxx

Hi poppyhead I had that problem - I woke at 4am on test day and was desperate - managed to wait about half an hour then gave up and wee’d in the pot but actually tested at 6.30am. I got a bfp but the line was a bit feint. When I did another test this morning when I had my fmp the line was darker so I would say test when you wee to make sure x

Hi Kezzy

The clinic said to me the reason they say first morning wee is because ideally they’d like it to be 6 hours since you last went, so it’s not diluted.

2WW utterly sucks! I got a huge shock yesterday when I got my BFP, did 3 tests to make sure. Fingers and toes crossed for you for tomorrow!! Xx

If you use a FRER test, it can be done any time of night or day, doesn’t have to be morning wee. If you can not go for 4 hours before testing then your wee should be strong enough, good luck xxxx
