I'm quite new and have been mostly following conversations, liking and commenting. In Denmark, I'm required to do a blood test to determine if it is BFP or BFN. So I was a bit surprised to read that you ladies just had to do the pee test. That at least reduces the waiting time when you have to call the hospital to know the result!
So after having read your posts, I was thinking that maybe I should do a pee test too on Friday morning before I go for my blood test... just to be prepared if ever it is a BFN and not to start crying on the phone with the nurse.
I'm struggling not to do one tomorrow morning, but I'm just so damn scared!
After a miscarriage (for the 1st IVF), which I thought, was the worst day of my life, this 2WW has been a rollercoaster for me. I guess I'm just freaking out here.
Thank you for just listening (or reading). I haven't told my friends (apart from one) about my IVF treatment, but you ladies really and truly understand what we're all going through.
Lovely evening!

Hey there..the 2ww is so tough and yes different clinics within the UK do it all so differently. The whole thing is a roller coaster but this forum and these fab strong wonderful ladies (including you) and some men are such a help in the highs and lows..wishing you so much love and luck for Friday. .let me know how you get on xx
Resist resist. ..only one more day to go..do something nice today..masses of luck for tomorrow..I got a good feeling that maybe our bumps are meant to meet😉xxxx
There are different practices in the UK, I personally always been required to do a blood test and recommended not test at homel. I would say that if you do test at home, select a good quality pregnancy test and do it first thing in the morning. On the other hand, testing at home can cause you additional and unnecessary stress so if you can.. wait. Whatever you do I hope you get your BFP, fingers crossed!! xoxo
Fingers crossed for a big BFP!!!! If you can try and wait till Friday as if you test too early the hcg levels might be too low resulting in a neg and cause you distress. If you wait till Friday you'd have a much better idea. Try and relax and stay positive, your lucky to be in the 2ww i hope I reach that stage. Sending you positive BFP vibes xxx
I'm also going through IVF in Denmark and my hospital said the pee tests are too unreliable - both ways you might get the wrong result. So they advised against even doing a pee test even as additional... But I'm tempted too if I get to that point (haven't had transfer yet and it looks unlikely to happen sadly)... let me know what you end up doing and if the results correspond!
