I injected this for the first time tonight and totally messed it up. Instructions say to inject into the thigh. Is this necessary as I'm used to injecting into my tummy?
Injected it totally wrong and now it's still sat under my skin in a big bubble. Worried it won't be absorbed. Think I've bruised myself and my leg was bloody.
Any advice or reassurance please that it's OK and will go?

Hi Jessy, I injected in to my tum with all the injections. I think if you gently massage it it will disperse - give it a while. If it doesn’t go away maybe check with the nurses xx
Hi Jessy, when i took this the nurse told me to inject into the stomach and not look at the box instructions as they say to put into your leg. It does sit under the skin a little bit, i didnt like touching it afterwards but it was gone by the next morning. Good luck sounds like its all going well xx
I got taught to put it into my stomach, just below belly button. They also said to massage it afterwards to help it circulate. I’m sure you can also put it into your thigh though.
I did fyramedel on my tummy. I have done all types of drugs and injections and find fyramedel to be the most painful, itchy one. The little lump usually goes away... please don’t worry
I only used my thigh for injections, just where I was most at ease. A couple of times I hit the ‘wrong bit’ of my thigh and had a bubble but I just put a tissue on it and used me thumb to massage the tissue until it was away... it was a little red after but completely fine. I found if I aimed for more of my inner thigh then this didn’t happen...
I did it in my stomach too. On my last day of injecting a little bit of blood and solution came out. I told my nurses and they said it's fine as it's only a tiny bit. Don't worry and good luck x
