I have treatment abroad and so do lots of other ladies so yes absolutely fine to fly. However do what you're comfortable with, it's really down to how you feel about it!xx
I flew the day after my BFP which would have been 10dp5dt. In some cases people are still on the 2ww at this point. There was no problem and I had a healthy pregnancy. I did have a letter from the clinic due to the meds I was on. As Cinderella5 also says she and many others have treatment abroad. See how you feel though. Lots of luck xx
Hi, I flew back from treatment in Spain on day of embryo transfer. I will be flying again in 2 weeks time for long planned holiday again to Spain, at that point I'll be 15 weeks pregnant. All safe to do & I'm not the best traveller at all! Best wishes to you x
Unless you've been told to refrain from any journey to help your implantation. As long as the flying and ensuing trip aren't going to be stressful you don't need to worry about it at all. Just make sure you carry all your medication along so you don't miss out on daily dose. Definitely, when you mentioned the FET it's pretty clear that success is very very important to you... which is quite obvious when you've gone all the way through IVF. Just make sure that you do keep stress at bay, both mental and physical. I guess for all of us if we happen to go through any assisted procedure the baby is the priority. But along with you should prioritise to relax and have a nice weekend in London. At the end of the day, it's, however, your call and you should do whatever you feel is more comfortable.
I did transfer at 11 am and fly back 5 am the next day as my dr said it was ok. So I think u can fly but it all depends on you.
I rested the whole day flew in and went back to work the next day
I just thought going back to work early will help me with the 2WW which I don't know how to manage other wise. Am taking it ease at work but am a little busy, hope I am not over doing it and it does not affect implantation
