Testing early

As anyone tested early? I have been told to test on the 14th which is 16 days after but i would have my period before this if i was not pregnant, i have read that you can test from 9 days after transfer.. as anyone done this after 9 days? I would still test on the 14th as well as.

Advice I've read is to let the trigger (hcg) get out of your system first... this takes 1 day per 1000mg you took. So if you had a full trigger its 10,000mg and will take 10 days post trigger. I've read that hcg if you're pregnant wont be high enough to test until after 14 days post collection (9dp5dt or 11dp3dt). I have previously tested at 8dp5dt and got a very faint BFP. I would be cautious though, I've also tested at this stage with a BFN and then its left me really down and flat for the rest of the 2ww, testing every morning. If you do choose to test use a first response pink test as they pick up hcg earlier than the blue tests. Best of luck!! Xx

Ok thank you, it will be 11 days after 3 say transfer wednesday, im just getting impatient 😔 i just want to test before i was due my period which is around the 10th xx

I understand!! I'm so impatient... just checking as well, some ladies count day 1 post transfer as the day of transfer, but it's the day after.

I'm now 5dp5dt (10days post collection... I'll be 14days on weds too!) I tested at 8dp5dt last time which is because I'm so impatient... so am probably going to do the same on tues morning with a FRER... the 2ww always feels like forever!!! Xxx

Oh i wish you the best of luck! Oh i was counting that as day 1 as well, so im classed as 7 days today 🙄 soni would be 11 days on wednesday, fingers crossed for you xx

I’ve tested early - 7 days for a very faint line, 8 days a stronger line. Today will be 9 days so will test again! Use a first response one! Good luck

I tested 3dp5dt and got a bfp, 6dp5dt bfn and convinced it failed but then bfp at 7 days. My first bfp ended in chemical and it was heartbreaking watching it turn to negative so my advise, wait as long as you can. Try to keep your mind healthy and visualise your baby getting nice and comfy xxx

Tested at 4dp 5dt and got a BFP. I suspect I would have also got a BFP at 3dp 5dt if I’d used a First Response. However, my advice would be to wait as long as you can to avoid any disappointment and so that your result is more reliable. Good luck...x

Ah wow congratulations, so if they put my eggs back in last saturday on day 3 would the sunday be classed as day 4? Or do you start as day 1 after the transfer it confuses me xx

What was your HCG number? Mine is so low only 48

Mine was high at 352. Ive heard it can increase each day so stay positive x

I’ve had a chemical pregnancy before so I’m just scared this is the same again as the symptoms seem to be going

Your number is great! With my daughter I had 854 which was insanely high and I felt awful for 3 months.

Yeah try that just remember it may not be accurate. Mine was but be cautious
