2 Embryos developing well

I haven’t posted since my egg collection as I made the mistake of falling into the numbers trap. We’ve now managed to get through another milestone so I wanted to share some good news. We collected 7 eggs and 2 fertilised. 2 didn’t survive the ICSI injection and 3 didn’t fertilise overnight. At this point my heart sank, even though I knew we only needed one. However, I feel like someone is watching out for us as our 2 embryos are developing nicely and are now both 8 cells. It’s sooo amazing that for once I’m crying tears of happiness. It’s the furthest we’ve got and I’m so grateful 🍀

That's great news! Are you having them put back today or are they taking them to day 5 to choose the best one?xx

Thank you. Hope you’re managing to find distractions for the 2ww x

Thats great news, i only got 2 eggs and both got to 8 cells, i was nervous but it really is true it only takes one good egg, and quality over quantity 😊 good luck 🤞 how many are you transfering? xx

My clinic will only let me transfer one based on my age and as it is my first cycle. Fingers crossed they continue to develop well to day 5. I hope ur managing to keep urself distracted over the 2ww xx

All the luck being sent your way ☺️. I only have 2 embryos make it to fertilisation and they are both top quality. Don’t put pressure on yourself have a lower count, as long as they are high quality. I beat myself up massively last week for only having 2. And I’m sitting here on my TWW with a 5 day transfer. Have faith, it can all still be good news for you xx
