2 embryos on board

It’s been a while since I posted on here. I just needed a bit of breathing space after the last failed transfer. We were due to have our next transfer at Easter but Covid put a stop to that. We flew out to Greece last week & had two embryos, both excellent quality, 5aa & 3aa transferred. Now in the dreaded wait. I’m supposed to have my pregnancy blood test this coming Saturday (1st Aug) but all our local blood test centres are closed over the weekend so we have to wait until Monday. This will be our last attempt so keep everything crossed for us. Good luck to all the rest of you in this 2ww too Xx

Thanks so much Cinderella. I’m hoping this will be our time. We had to bite the bullet & just travel, been covid tested 3x in as many weeks! Strange travelling at the moment and we went for the bare minimum number of days. Our flight was delayed by 4h 40 on the return, but at least we got home! How are you & where are you on your journey? I used to closely follow your posts but not been on as regularly as I used too. Xx

Im doing ok thanks! To be honest I havent posted much recently as I havent had much to report with covid being around. I had actually planned to be out in Athens today for a week bu then my period didnt play ball and my clinic are having 2wks holiday so taking meds to stem off a bleed now and have rearranged for going out 3rd week of August. I cant say Im looking forward to travelling with a mark etc but it is what it is. They are doing random covid testing at the airport and my clinic will covid test me too. Hopefully all will be ok. What a pain to be delayed all that time but yes, good that you are back safe and sound. Take it easy over the 2ww, try not to go too crazy......as if that's not gonna happen!! Ha ha ha xx

Oh that’s exciting! You’ll be there before you know it. We got tested here for covid before starting meds, my decision, not advice from our clinic. Travelling with a mask isn’t as bad you think, we got used to it very quickly. We were selected for testing at the airport & clinic tested only me. They did not let husbands in for transfer this time which we’d mentally prepared for as we guessed this might be the case. This will be your time, I’ve got everything crossed for you lovely Xx

Yes, time is ticking away....bit fed up today as I should have been off to the sun today, nevermind....not long to go as you say! My husband is having a right old moan about having to wear a mask in this country far less getting on a plane....might have to knock him out! You're well tested for covid then ha ha ha Im a wee bit nervous about the covid testing to find out we are asymptomatic would just be our bloody luck! I knew about the husband bit which doesnt bother me too much, I just feel sorry for him as I think its the only point he feels included. Thank you but never mind me yet, this is your time....mine will hopefully be along after you!!xxx

Wonderful, very much love and luck to you!!! I might try my embryo in next 6 months. Feeling a bit flummoxed and terrified to be honest, but know it might be the right time. I really hope this works for you and all the luck getting through the 2ww!!! Xx

Just wanted to wish you well and say good luck, I’ll be keeping everything crossed for you 😊 I’m also in the 2ww after a transfer last Wednesday but OTD isn’t until Tuesday which seems so far away!
