After my last two cycles were cancelled before egg collection due to lack of response to the meds, I am starting norethisterone on Tuesday to begin my third cycle.
At the end of the last cycle we had a meeting with the consultant where she was really optimistic. I seem to have loads of eggs but they don’t grow bigger than 11mm. Anyway this time the plan is we start on 300 units of menopur, which puts me at a much higher risk of OHSS but seems to be the only way to try and get my body to play ball.
I’m so anxious and worried to go through it all again. Does anyone have any success stories or advice. It feels like each time is more overwhelming as opposed to easier.
Thanks

Hi EmGLA. I can fully understand your worries. I think you are referring to the number of follicles, as we don’t know how many eggs you will have until egg collection. I’m sure the clinic will monitor you very closely, so try not to worry too much. They’ve seen how you’re reacting, so will be careful. Thinking of you. Diane
