i'm sorry that you've got this horrible condition. After i had my surgery my consultant told me i should expect to be in the same position after 2 years. It does unfortunately come back as it worsens with every menstrual cycle. But for some people it doesn't come back for a long time, or you might be the lucky few who doesn't get it back at all. People often go on birth control to help manage symptoms and they've proven to be quite effective. Because i was trying to conceive i didn't go on any form of birth control to keep my endo at bay, so unfortunately after only a year i had almost all my symptoms back.
Just want to encourage you, my friend was finally diagnosed after years of infertility; 4 rounds ivf and 3 mc stage 4 endo.
Dr removed it and told her she would be fertile for next 12 months after surgery. She changed her diet, cut out all sugar but apart from that did nothing else.
3 months later just before she was due to start round 5 ivf.... she conceived naturally and is now 22 weeks. 😀
Lots of girls on here conceived after endo treatment. They havnt posted as l assume they are busy with their babies.
