We are soon to start our second fresh IVF cycle. Our first cycle with a fresh transfer back in February resulted in a faint positive which quickly turned negative. FET in April followed with a BFP which sadly failed at 6 weeks. We are now going to be starting all over again. And I guess with the arrival of my period on Saturday, all the emotions have come flooding back that we are going to have to go through it all over again and that it's one more failed month of not being able to fall pregnant naturally. Feeling pretty sorry for myself at the moment and not sure how to change my mindset so that I can be more positive. Xxx

I understand how you feel, I am 13 weeks pregnant after 2nd FET and when starting that cycle I felt pressure for it to work because it was our 3rd attempt. Have you tried reflexology? For me, this made a huge difference in my mindset. Good for relaxing and preparing your body for all stages of IVF. My reflexologist also did a lot of visualisation techniques and positive affirmations. Worth a try if you’ve not already done it. Good luck! X
Oh hun, life is s**t sometimes and when it is we just have to do what makes us feel good! Scream, run, hibernate.... do whatever you must. It’s totally normal to feel this way. The toughest part of this journey is learning how to deal with the emotional side of it all. I found counselling great (offered through my NHS fertility clinic), acupuncture & I took up meditation & yoga just at home with YouTube. Be proactive and look after the emotional you first, don’t be afraid to put you first! This journey can takes its toll. Sending you lots of positivity Xx
Hello, sorry about your previous fails. And you have every right to feel anxious and sad. But we have to do everything to avoid feeling depressed. Have you asked your doctor about it? Sometimes when all else fails (eating properly, getting enough sleep, exercise, yoga) medication is needed.
