Hi all,

Finally got a date for our first IVF consultation at the clinic 😊.

I just can’t seem to find much information online in regards to IVF with one ovary & just wondered if anyone has experience?

TIA Xx

Hi

I have too much experienced in ivf

Four failed ivf but still staying strong and hopefully next cycle will work.

So now you can ask me anything you want as I have almost become a doctor😊

I lost one ovary after our second round of IVF which resulted in a gorgeous daughter but also a cancer scare. Now trying for a sibling with one ovary.

Hi

Congrats , your gorgeous baby must be the most sweetest angel.🤗

So wanted to ask you about your ovary which you lost ,was that due to ivf induced ovarian cancer?

In don’t think IVF can induce ovarian cancer. I had two cysts develop during the pregnancy. As they couldn’t tell from the scans if they were cysts or tumours, they did a blood test for a tumour marker. That was elevated. That’s known to happen during pregnancy, but being pregnant they couldn’t do conclusive tests like PET scans. So they planned a caesarean to also remove the ovary and whatever growths they were to test. It was a cancer scare, but no cancer.

Hi there, I'm one ovary down. Had my right one removed a number of years ago because of a malignant dermoid cyst or immature teratoma. Also have a cyst on remaining ovary so ovarian tissue was a bit stretched but responded well to stims injections and managed to get 14 eggs from it last week, and had two embryos transferred on Tuesday past. So very proud of my little ovary, not only for doing the work of two ovaries for many years but for producing so many healthy eggs! Best wishes with everything! x

My remaining ovary is very polycystic, so a bit worried about that-but what will be will be! So pleased for you ☺️☺️ Wishing you all the best ❤️ Xx
