Devastated. It was a BFN (did two tests) and that was our only nhs round. As it’s sunday the nurses are not around. Any advice whether I should continue to take the pessaries until AF comes or can I stop. Frankly I’d rather stop but if you ladies have had advice to continue then I would.
Time to rethink our world. We are not sure if we can afford to self fund. Can anyone advise how much ivf is likely to cost for short protocol, own eggs but using sperm donor...I know this is likely to vary between clinics but it would be good to get an approx. Anyone taken loans for IVF we want this so much but Iv never taken a loan or gone into debt before....owing money makes me feel really uneasy!
Any advice and help welcome. Thanks all.

I'm so sorry lovely. I don't know about the meds, I'd carry on until you've spoken to the clinic if I were you. Be kind to yourselves and take time to grieve for this cycle.
Re funding, it does vary between clinics. Have you looked at Access Fertility? They have various programmes with some that have unlimited cycles to achieve success.
Sorry to read your news, it is horrible getting a BFN. I would continue to take your medication until you have spoken to the clinic.
I have used Access Fertility, one of the refund packages and it has been great not having to worry about cost each time, although you do have to pay extra for all the medication.
There is another programme that includes medication too, I think it is called assured fertility.
Take some time, email Diane Arnold for some questions to take to your follow up appointment.
All the best

So sorry to read this - take some time to come to terms with this and assess options although I really understand the feeling of needing to move on and think of next plans.
I had to keep taking drugs until OTD and until after I had spoken to clinic - my BFN was also a Sunday so I took them Sunday but called them first thing Monday and they told me to stop
Such a shame hon, sorry it wasn't better news for you. You likely won't get your period while taking pessaries as they stop your lining breaking down. Hope you can manage to try again xxx
I’m sorry to read this 🙁 bfn’s are truly rubbish. I stopped my pessaries once I got a bfn on my last round (on my official test date) as I thought that there was no point in continuing.
My last fresh round cost around 6.2k, but that wasn’t for a round with donor sperm. If you google I’m sure you can find some estimates.
I took the pessary this morning but I started to bleed anyway and have my usual period cramps so I’m just going to stop now. Never mind it obviously wasn’t meant to be this time. I’m a teacher and have been quite stressed so maybe we will wait and try again in summer when I can be a lot more chilled xx
