Day 16 of Burserelin....really struggling

So day 16, no bleed yet. Feel absolutely horrendous.

Clinic said to call Wednesday if still nothing and they will bring me in for a scan.

Seriously just considering giving up. Can’t stop crying.

No idea if anyone else has had the same thing as no replies to my previous post.

Last time it only took 8 days before a bleed. No idea what’s going on.

No questions to ask, just a rant because no one apart from my husband knows we are trying again and just needed to say out loud (sort of) that I’m struggling. Really struggling.

This journey is incredibly difficult, not only physically but emotionally too. I’m only on my first cycle, and haven’t had this happen, but I know someone who was in a similar situation. I don’t exactly know what happened as I hadn’t considered ivf then so didn’t really know what it entailed. But she got through the hurdles and ended up having her baby through that long difficult cycle.

Don’t give up. You’ve got this. Take it as a day at a time. Wishing you the best of luck xxx

Thank you. I’d been doing ok up until this last few days. It’s the medication messing with my emotions as much as anything! Just started bleeding today so feeling much better as I can at least move on to the next stage now! X

Did you do a pregnancy test before you started? The reason I ask is the same happened to me and I had fallen pregnant naturally before FET.xx

Wow that must have been a shock! I hadn’t taken one but started bleeding today so it seems it was just delayed. On to the next bit! Thanks for the reply x

Hi Greyeverything. So sorry to hear this. You must drink lots of water, which will help. Thinking of you. Diane

Hi, it is a tough journey. The more you are harder on yourself the worse it gets. Just try relax and not think about it so much. (I know easier said than done).

My bleed was also delayed by 4 days this time. I was on the spray though. As Diane said drink plenty of water it does help.

Hope you feel better soon and don't loose hope!

Xx

Started bleeding today so looks like it was just delayed. I think the medication coupled with not feeling well just all got too much. So relieved to be moving to the next stage hopefully now. Thank you for your reply x
