So yes today my second cycle was cancelled at day 13 of stims. During my scan all of the follicles that had been measuring 11 or 12mm had vanished and my endothelial lining had reduced from 6.8mm to 4.2mm. Has anyone else had this??
There were still over 20 follicles but they were 8mm or less. The nurse was so surprised she thought she was scanning me wrong and got a consultant to confirm. The consultant cancelled my cycle basically on the spot.
I’m to start again in 4-5 weeks with a higher again dose of menopur, which puts me at a higher risk of OHSS, but hopefully my body will respond 🤞🏼🤞🏼.

Sorry to hear this but glad you don’t have to go through a whole cycle as a wasted one. I know it’s disappointing but Good they’ve spotted it and can readjust your meds. Good luck Hun ccc
I was on a higher dose this cycle, 225iu menupur. The nurse says it's quite high for a petite person. I was a bit worried about HOSS but actually, it wasn't too different from 150iu.
Totally understand how you feel... I had day 10 scan and I had 10 follicles but they had to disregard 4 of them as they didnt realky grow.. I'm an egg donor so need 8 follicles minimum to donate do was gutted when they cancelled my treatment yesterday (Fri). I was on 225 initially then put to 300 so obviously wasn't enough. Think plan is to start on Oct cycle as lady I was donating to will need to down reg now because of me as cycles won't be matched until then.
I'm well gutted and down as feel I've let my recipient down.
Hopefully increase meds in next treatment cycle 🤞🤞
I’m so sorry to hear this lovely you poor thing. It’s such a mystery isn’t it!! Thinking of you and sending you love. I’m just starting round 2 after my cancelled cycle and very nervous for a repeat performance xx
Thanks! I have just booked in for my third go at my first cycle. I start norethisterone on the 2nd of October and estimated to start stims on the 16th. Hopefully it’s third time lucky!! 🤞🏼🤞🏼
