Hi all, just wondering if anyone knows anything about ivf funding?

When I initially started ivf i was living in manchester and was told i would only get one round. I moved to stockport shortly afterwards but continued my ivf with the manchester hospital. I'm down to my last embryo now so im interested to know if there is any possanility of having a second round in a stockport Hospital as stockport apparently do 2 rounds on the nhs?

Hope that makes sense!!

Fingers crossed my last embryo will be the one but just want to know my options if not.

Thanks

Hi I lived at parents in Salford and was told I would get one round . I moved in with my partner who lived I monton and I was told I would get two rounds . The only thing is I had moved before starting the process so before I started I was told I would get the two rounds . It’s ridiculous isn’t it ! I would suspect you would be able to appeal somehow for sure ? I really hope it works for you this time but if it doesn’t then try appealing x x

The funding is connected to the GP/CCG you’re registered with not the hospital. So probably Stockport CCG If you find out which it is then they usually have their funding policy published online and that should apply to you.
