Hello I need to get an injection (which I have) and scan on a certain day in the run up to ivf. I’m doing ivf abroad but would need the injection and scan in Scotland before we go. I am from Aberdeenshire (Aberdeen fertility clinic are unwilling to help) my own gp has said that because we are going abroad he won’t help.
😢😢😢 it’s an absolute joke. This is stressful enough as it is without this extra hassle xxx

Will your clinic see you privately? Or recommend anywhere that can? We sorted out a private consultant through our local private hospital prior to starting the process abroad so we knee we could get the meds we needed and the scans/backup we needed before we went and after we came back, as you will need continuing meds and at least a viability scan and pregnancy blood test when you return.
Be warned though the private fees are not cheap! Our scans were £150 each, it was £100 extra for a copy of the letter to send to the overseas clinic following each scan, and the blood test was £60.
If you don’t get anywhere asking the clinic then google private fertility consultant (with the name of your nearest city) and start there.

What about the Roc Private Clinic in westhill? I’m not sure exactly what they can offer but it may be worth enquiring. Their website is pretty comprehensive.
