semen analysis

Hi All, we are waiting on hubbys second semen analysis to get an up to date result, been 3 weeks now and GP still hasn't received the result?? any one else had this before??

I’m pretty sure they do the analysis the same day (or the sample basically dies).

Did he go to the hospital for it? Perhaps it would be quicker to contact the hospital directly. Hope you hear soon and they are good results x

Yeh he’s rang the hospital and said hadn’t received them I have no idea what’s going onx

Where did he actually give the sample? That will be where the test was done.

Unfortunately things do get lost though!

We had our appointment via the sub fertility unit at our hospital. If you have a similar unit I’d call them and explain no one seems to have the results and ask what to do if they still haven’t been received in a couple of weeks.

I’ve found you really have to chase and push for things. If they have got lost, nothing will happen about it unless you push for it x
