***Sensitive post*** 12 week scan

Hi all you lovely people! I've been taking a break from this forum to try to take care of my own mental health but today I can confirm that we have got passed the milestone of 12 weeks!

Our scan went really well today. It was so great to see our little seahorse (nothing like a seahorse anymore!) looking like a proper baby! Wriggling around and giving us a lovely wave!! I must also say that the care we are receiving is amazing so thank you to the lovely NHS midwives, consultants, sonographers and care assistants that we have met so far. Everyone has been so understanding of our situation and I cannot be more grateful for that! We've had an incredibly long and difficult journey to get here but it's definitely starting to sink in and I'm starting to enjoy it!!

Good luck on your journeys ladies and gentlemen, just remember that it's not over until you say and it just goes to show that even when you think it is over it might well not be!

Oh wow congratulations such a huge milestone to reach. The changes foetus makes is mind blowing. Life is such a miracle ( even more so for those who fought & beat infertility) All the best with the rest of your pregnancy xxx

Thank you! I know that before this time it was always good to be reminded that it was possible to get that BFP! I know for me IVF had become about the process more than having a baby if you know what I mean?!? Strange I know! Good luck with your new cycle! Hope you get the news that you so deserve! Hugs.xx

Thanks Laura! How did your scan go? So sorry to hear about your gran. It's so hard when life can be so confusing. I lost a friend this week and I'm obviously really sad but I still feel happy for myself. Hope your other half is feeling better. Thinking positive thoughts for you.xx
