Worrying about my FET

Hi lovely ladies.

Here I am on my Friday eve worrying about if my FET will go ahead this month or not. Am doing a natural one and am testing for my surge at the mo. These tests are driving me crazy and am even dreaming of the faces of these clear blue tests 😫. Am worried am late or am missing it as am on day 14 and usually ovulate by now or 15. I keep getting a negative or no face so not even a flashing face. What u guys think. Just keep testing in hope may come. Also I started my AF later than usual this cycle so day 31 rather than usual day 28 ish. U reck this would delay my surge too?

Any input be muchly appreciated. Know need to chill prob too 😐☺️ xx

Hey I'm exactly the same! I usually ovulate day 13 and I'm not getting any ewm and none of ovulation sticks are getting closer. I think everything is delayed this month...luckily ill be getting scans and bloods taken every other day from so hopefully won't miss it.

Are you doing lh tests am and pm just so you don't miss your surge? How often are you having scans? They can't surely be relying on lh surges? Can you explain that you don't always get peaks on them and that you want scans in the lead up so you don't miss it?

Thanks Hun. Yeah so annoying a. Yeah ya lucky with ur scans. I don’t get them until I show a positive on the tests which not happening at the mo. Am testing 3 times a day at mo just to see if can pick something up but no face every time 😫 have called them about it but they advising to keep testing at the mo until this weekend. Oh it so worrying and think am out for this month at this rate 😢

I've got a scan this morning. I'll know more then. I wonder why they can't just scan us and when the follicle and lining are the right size/thickness just trigger us, scan us and start progesterone? It's all so confusing and stressful. Let's hope we both ovulate on the next few days so we can get on with it! Xx

Good luck with ur scan hun. Hope all good and can all go ahead. Yeah I know all so diff depending on the clinic. To be fair it usually fine when done before but my body just being bonkers this time. Just rubbish as the next few months may be tough to do it again as am on a work training course away from home and unclear if that will impact it 😫. Nothing ever simple a.

Hey hun. Don't worry you will ovulate. I used to ovulate differently every months. Sometimes will be a week late or a week earlier. Just keep testing and the smiley face will come. Best if luck 🥰🥰🥰🤞🤞🤞💗💗💗

Good luck, I am in the same situation this month and it’s driving me crazy! Which tests do you use? I have just got the cheap ones from amazon.... thinking about upping my game! 😂 x

Really does drive u crazy a. Def is for me too. Am dreaming of the darn tests. Have got the clear blue ones so more expensive but did find the sticks a bit confusing so these appear to be one face or another. Though is disheartening when u get no face like I am at the mo 😫. Sure both kinds of tests work fine though

Where u in ur cycle and when u expecting ur surge? Hope it comes for us both soon 🤞🤞

I usually find that if the length of period is longer then my ovulation is also longer so it may just be that. On my cycle which was 32 days I ovulated on day 17 so still time. Hang on in there sound like you have it covered doing 3 tests a day! Good luck.xx

Thanks cinders that good to know that does happen it makes sense and is reassuring so yep keep testing indeed. Just hope it does happen otherwise be back to the drawing board of I guess trying a medicated one. Heyho. We do what we need to do a. Keeping fighting and going 💪💪.

Bless ya it really does feel like limbo indeed. Hopefully it will come around soon and guess all can do in meantime all can do is try keep busy I guess. Though know it easier said than done. Am stressing about waiting a few days at mo 🤦‍♀️🤦‍♀️. Best wishes hun xxz

may I ask did you change anything in your diet before your FET? I’m due to do a Natural one in a few weeks and I haven’t changed much this time just cut down on caffeine as I tend to eat relatively healthy in general. My last cycle failed ☹️ this is my only frozen embryo so I’m praying it works 🤞🤞 did you take any progesterone leading up to your transfer? I have requested they prescribe me this which they have agreed too 😊

I’m overthinking everything at moment it’s driving me mad 😌 xx

I didn’t change much tbh I did continue to eat generally healthy, reduced caffeine and had no alcohol. I did take progesterone from my surge so 5 days pre transfer and generally tried to relax thou always easier said than done. After transfer I took the day off after it and did the zita west meditation which think helped. Think most important for me was to keep my stress levels down tbh. Really best wishes with this. I’m having 1 coffee per day as I do love my coffee ☕️ how many did you have per day? Silly question but I just like to know what others have done especially the successful ones like you 😊 I’m doing acupuncture each Friday to help relax and de stress me but still can’t help overthinking it all however I do feel a lot more chilled since starting the acupuncture so hopefully that’s working for me. I’m going to have day or 2 off after transfer off and just relax then I can work from home for a few days thankfully 😅 Think I might look at Zita west meditation is it an app? Xx
