Hey!
I’m waiting to start my first IVF cycle hopefully in September.
Myself and my OH have decided to take a break while we’re waiting, but being a control freak I’m worried about potentially missing an opportunity to conceive
When I had my laproscopy in April, my consultant advised me that I have weakened Fallopian tubes. My surgery notes state: “tubes appeared thickened. The dye test showed bilateral fill and spill, however there was evidence of extensive muscular dysfunction”
Along with my low AMH, endometriosis (stage 3) and my OH low sperm count, we’ve been advised that natural conception isn’t going to happen which is why we’re going ahead with IVF.
My question is, has anyone else been advised they have weakened tubes or muscular dysfunction and still gone on to conceive naturally? What even are weakened tubes? I didn’t ask my consultant more about it which I’m regretting!
I don’t want to miss an opportunity but I also want to put my mind at rest and just enjoy my ‘break’ from TTC!
Any advice welcomed 😊
Thank you!
