Bleeding for 2 weeks and lining is too thick 😩

So had my down reg scan today and they have said my lining isn’t thin enough!!

I’ve been bleeding pretty heavy for 2 weeks, how is it not thin enough?

They have said to stay on the buserelin and have another scan next week before I can move on to the next step. This didn’t happen last time.

Anyone else experienced anything similar? I’m feeling fed up, the injections are so much harder this time around 😣 xx

Hi, sorry this is happening to you. It happened to me too, I was really surprised because I had a heavy period and my lining was still over 7mm. I stayed on Buserelin for 2 more weeks, spotted a little, lining never thinned and cycle was cancelled. They weren’t sure why, it was 2 cycles after my mmc. I repeated the cycle and my lining thinned down as expected the following time. Hopefully yours will thin down nicely so you can move on x

Thank you and so sorry this happened to you too :(

I really wanna move forward. I’ve been bleeding a fair bit this afternoon so I’m really hoping next week will be ok!

I’m sorry to hear about ur mmc too, I had the same 7 years ago 😥

I really hope they don’t cancel mine. The injections are so frustrating xx

It’s good that your still bleeding, I was willing myself to bleed, it felt like it went on forever! Buserelin is the worst. I insisted on no down reg for my most recent cycle and it really was the best thing! X

That’s my plan if this doesn’t work this time for us. It’s so much stress on the body with the injections 😩 xx

My first round of IVF was cancelled as my lining wasn't thin enough at start. It's frustrating but trust that the docs only want you to have the best shot.

Yes you ate right thank you.

Did they give any reason as to why it wasn’t thin enough? You would think bleeding non stop for two weeks and it being heavy that it would be.

No reason. I have had regular periods right up to that one then that one was late! Grrr. Was really upsetting at the time but glad they wanted to get things right.

Hi This is exactly what happened to me in December & they didn’t transfer any embryos but froze them as my lining was far too thick it was 7mm-8mm.

It must be a side effect from the meds that causes the lining to thicken.

But come now I had an FET embryo transfer yesterday. X
